The process of displaying graphics, branding, and company information on a commercial vehicle. The graphics are applied on a PVC plastic Vinyl Wrap Film. This material is made specifically for Automotive paint and will not damage the vehicle finish. The wrap film is printed on via a large format machine, then laminated with a clear coat to protect the ink. The vinyl wrap is applied by hand and can be designed to almost any specifications.
The wrap is an adhesive backed thermoplastic film that is very hi tech. The adhesive is very special and allows the material to contour and stick into place without damaging the substrate. The raw materials are printed on by a large printer. After printing and outgassing, the film is laminated with a clear top coat layer to protect the ink. The material may then be cut to shape using another machine and applied by a technician directly onto the vehicle.
There are many factors in the price. The standard service is a printed wrap in either a glossy or matte finish. Exotic wrap materials such as reflectives, neons, and color changing will affect the price. In some cases the price can be determined by the square footage of material installed on the vehicle anywhere from 7-15$ per sq. ft.
It is extremely difficult to estimate without some detailed information. Supplying as much info as possible to get the most accurate estimate. Other costs to consider may be excessive graphic design needs, and additional print services like banners, cards, etc.
These are specific digital art that we need to work on a project. If you have an existing logo, we need that in a high resolution because it will be greatly enlarged on the side of a vehicle and should not be pixelated at all. Vector Files are graphic images that are editable. They can be directly imported into graphic design programs and used as needed.
Generally, If the paint on a vehicle is bad, It should not be wrapped. The wrap will fail and come off with the paint/clear coat. The wrap is designed to apply to smooth, sealed surfaces. The wrap material comes from the manufacturer in premade colors. If one of those colors matches the paint then great, however we can not print a finish that is a exact match to some existing paint color.
All of our wrap services include visual renditions of what the end product will look like. You will see detailed picture and images of the digital art and wrap on the vehicle or vehicle outline. Following a free consultation, a $150 deposit is required to start graphic design projects and get renderings. The deposit applies to the total end cost estimated in the consultation.
